I just couldn't bring myself to write a poem about a $1.5 trillion budget ask that will slash "domestic programs such as disaster relief and teacher training."
It is so important to do this, and I am very grateful for this poem and for spring...the constant reminder of life. News is crushing me. Daffodils and poems lift hearts! xo
