Each of us -- a stone.
Our lives -- the drop, the ripples.
What we do -- matters.

Today I will celebrate with a student who can trace his degree in Environmental Policy back to his experiences in my fourth grade classroom. It's rare to learn how the "what we did" became the "who they are."
More than a little breathtaking to see our teaching footsteps going out into the world for eternity. Congratulations! I'm going to print this out and glue it into EACH KINDNESS. Think it's a perfect companion piece…ReplyDelete
What beautiful words and how wonderful to celebrate your student. :)ReplyDelete
