  1. Oh my. I ate a lot of stuff like that when I grew up in rural Illinois. Exotic, for sure! (Perhaps even as exotic as red jello, applesauce, red hots, and 7-Up.)

  2. This made me laugh! I remember both Orange Fluff and the red jello/7up combination (my mom was from Illinois). Does anyone remember the green one- I think it had Cool Whip, Pistachio Pudding mix, pineapple and maybe walnuts?

  3. When my husband was at Purdue they would serve "jello" as desserts and he would always protest! If it isn't pie, cakes, or cookies it can't be called a dessert.
