HELP!

I ate too much!
I took a test!
My boat capsized!
I'm in distress!

  1. Even the pace of this is distressful! Such an interesting word - I have never given it much thought until today...

  2. I agree with Amy about the pace. Whew! And I thought I was overwhelmed.

Struggling with a poem for distress. Unfortunately, my brain is NOT letting me do much beyond play with the pun on distress, so it can't shake the image of me in "dis dress"... which is ruining the poem, frankly. :)

  3. Based on Linda's comment over at A Year of Reading, I revised this to be even more of a poem to yell -- took out the commas and added exclamations.
